SK Welcomes Exchange Student
SK Welcomes Exchange Student

SKCS is delighted to introduce our new exchange student, Emma!  Emma is visiting us from Brædstrup Denmark, where she lives with her parents, younger twin sisters, and their dog.  While her native language is Danish, Emma speaks English very well, and has also been studying German.  Emma is very active in her school where she serves on the Student Council. She also plays on her school’s handball team, and serves as a volunteer handball coach for 5 and 6 year olds.  Her favorite subjects in school are math and social studies. In her free time, Emma enjoys reading, skiing, spending time with her friends, and traveling with her family. She has traveled to Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Croatia, Thailand, Greece, and the US.  Welcome to South Kortright, Emma!

Cody has a student advisory position on the Catskill Committee for Climate Change Education and dedicated many hours this year in attending meetings and trainings, including the teacher training in May. He is super excited for this opportunity and experience.
