Elementary Borrowing Procedures

Kindergarten and Grade 1

Kindergarteners and first graders may take one book out per library class if they do not have any overdue.

Grades 2 and 3

Second and third graders may take out 2 books per library class if they do not have any overdue.

Returning materials

Books may be returned to the library at any time during the school day.  New books can only be taken out at library time unless other arrangements have been made. 

Overdue materials

A notice is delivered to each student's classroom notifying the student of the title and author of the book that is missing.  This reminder should be taken home to help assist the students and parents in the search for their overdue materials.
