Miss Primeau’s 2nd grade class is wrapping up their last math chapter on geometric shapes with some hands on building! They learned about 2D and 3D shapes.











Great day for SK Middle School Band! They performed at the Trills and Thrills Festival at Queensbury HS receiving a superior rating! Congratulations!!
Then a stop at Great Escape. Fun day!

Mrs. Davis and Mrs. Champlin took their fourth grade classes to visit the past at the Delaware County Historical Association! Looks like it was fun!











Making learning fun!! Mrs. Wayman’s Senior Participation in Government (PIG) classes participated in mock trials of real past court cases. Each section had a different case and acted as the jury for each other. Both classes did a great job!!











Making learning fun!! Mrs. Sturniolo’s sophomore ELA class finished reading A Long Way Gone, a memoir of a child soldier. Their final project was a six word memoir that describes their lives and a visual representation. They were wonderful!!

Congratulations to Gary Licalzi and the SKCS Marching Band for placing second in concert band, marching band and drum line yesterday in Sherburne! 🎶🥁💙🐑


Rugby NY Coach Patrick Gruner visited SKCS PE classes to teach them about rugby. Students got right into drills and game play, and some commented that it was the most they have ever sweat in PE class!He shared his knowledge from 20 years of rugby (he originally comes from Ireland!), and our students greatly enjoyed learning from him. Reminder to Girls on the Run girls 🏃🏻♀️The 5K race is on Sunday at Neahwha Park in Oneonta! Please be there by 11:30am to line up for the race beginning at NOON! Pre-race activities start at 10am! Look for the South Kortright sign and check in with your coaches when you get there! We will have the tutus 😀eat a good breakfast 🍳 🥯and bring a water bottle 💦!! Can’t wait to see you!!! 🏃🏻♀️
