Congratulations to SK Senior Alexander Ellis for being awarded the Power of Hard Work Scholarship from Casella Waste Systems! This scholarship is for Future Heavy Equipment Operators and Diesel Mechanics. Alexander is currently a student in the Equipment Operation and Repair program at NCOC and is planning to attend SUNY Cobleskill in the fall. Thank you to Casella Waste Systems, Adam Critti, and Adam Stoutenburg for presenting Alexander with this well-deserved award! Yay Alex!!!

The PE Department will be taking all 5th – 8th grade students on a field trip to WildPlay, an Adventure Park located in Thacher Park in Voorheesville, NY on May 16th, 2024. To participate in the adventure courses, WildPlay requires parents to sign an electronic waiver. All students will attend the trip, students who do not have a signed waiver or choose not to go on the ropes course will participate in alternative activities on the ground.

At SK presents last Friday, April Birthdays were celebrated and The Environmental Club did a presentation on the importance of protecting the Earth. Then they went to the elementary classes and recycled plastic bags into bracelets and old t-shirts into dog tug of war toys.
